White House Trump associate linked to the Proud Boys before the riot over cell phone data

A person associated with the White House of Trump communicated with a member of the Proud Boys days before the January 6 uprising, reports The New York Times.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) used location, cell and call log data to make the connection between the unidentified person and the far-right peripheral group.

The Times also noted that none of the telephone data showed any connection between protesters and members of Congress on January 6.
