On Tuesday, Fox News host Harris Faulkner announced that McEnany would join the “Fox family”. At the end of the day, a reporter asked Psaki during the White House’s daily press conference if she would be willing to sit down with McEnany for an interview.

Psaki added that she had interacted with McEnany in the past and that they were high school with each other, despite their political differences.

McEnany has made frequent appearances on Fox News in the past two years, including several on prime-time opinion shows, where she made baseless allegations about widespread electoral fraud.
