New year, new console. Now in the third month of PS5reign, it would be nice if the big retailers had stock, but unfortunately it is not the case. It’s really just a continuation of 2020, a year that hasn’t been kind to players. At the moment, the only consoles you can buy are full of resellers like eBay and StockX, often several times their retail value of $ 400 or $ 500.

Sony’s next-generation console was launched in the United States on November 12, but the stock has not been a match for demand. O PlayStation 5 exhausted more or less instantly. In the weeks since, we’ve seen a series of stock drops at major retailers, but it seems that few people have managed to claim a console since then. ordinary users had to compete with bots and resellers.
Twitter may be a good resource for checking replenishment news, but it is also a denunciation of poor stock management at Sony and major retailers. Today, for example, Twitter user @ PS5_Restockk alerted players that stock was in stock at Best Buy, only to be inundated with responses that made it clear how frustrating the sale was until it sold out quickly.

The PS5 is available in two versions: the $ 500 model with Blu-rayand an identical $ 400 digital version, without a disk slot.
