Where to find water in Austin: breweries are distributing free water – just bring a container

Lee is a story in Spanish.

The entire city of Austin has low water pressure or no running water, shows a map released by Austin Water on Friday morning.

Federal Emergency Management Agency trucks with 1 million gallons of water – or 8 million 16 oz. bottles – are on their way to Austin, according to Travis County Judge Andy Brown. “These are due to arrive today, with more arriving in the coming days from Mississippi, Alabama and Florida,” Brown said in a tweet.

When KUT knows the location of any water distribution location administered by city or county, we will notify you here.
