What new movies to watch this Christmas (and where), from ‘1984 Wonder Woman’ to Pixar’s ‘Soul’

Going to the movies this holiday season may be out of the question for most Americans, but luckily you don’t have to leave the house to see some of the biggest Christmas movie releases.

Among the films that will be released just in time to spread the joy of Christmas are “News of the World”, “Wonder Woman 1984”, “Promising Young Woman” and “The Midnight Sky”, just to name a few.

To be more in-depth, let’s note that some films are, for some reason, premiering this week in theaters only, with the eventual launch of TBD home video. We have included them below, but of course we want to remember that COVID-19 killed hundreds of thousands of Americans and cinemas across the country are being closed due to the risk of spreading the disease. Therefore, we recommend that you keep this in mind before deciding to sit in a closed room with a lot of other people before receiving the vaccine.

In any case, read on for a list of the main films that will be released this holiday – and, of course, where to watch them.
