During an appearance on Tuesday on “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” Brady – now the owner of seven Super Bowl titles – talked about the moments after his Tampa Bay Buccaneers overtook the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl 2021.
“I was looking for my family,” recalled the 43-year-old quarterback. “Suddenly I see my eldest son [Jack] run to me, ‘daddy!’ you know, and I gave a big hug. I saw my two little ones [daughter Vivian and son Benjamin], and then, suddenly, I saw my wife and gave her a big hug. “
Brady said his wife was 12 years old and then asked him, “What else do you have to prove?”
“I was trying to figure out a way to change the subject very quickly,” said Brady of his response. “I think I switched to something very quickly.”
After Brady’s first Super Bowl victory with his new team, Bündchen posted a family photo on Instagram that showed his two children, Vivian, 8, and Benjamin, 10, and Jack, 13, who Brady shares with his ex, Bridget Moynahan.
“Congratulations my love! Over the years, I have seen you overcome many adversities, physically and emotionally. I can say with certainty that you are the most dedicated, focused and mentally difficult person I have ever met ”, Bündchen, 40, posted at the time.
“It has been a challenging year and watching you in a new environment, taking extra time to meet and support your teammates, working with your new coaches with respect and grace, waking up very early every day to deal with bumps and bruises to play football, never complain, you just kept focused on your goal to go out there and be the best leader you can be. “
Bündchen has addressed the issue of retirement before. After Brady led the Patriots to a Super Bowl comeback over Falcons in 2017, Bündchen expressed concern about the concussions in an interview with CBS.

Although this is Brady’s first season in Tampa Bay after 20 seasons in New England, Bündchen was already convinced by the end of 2018 that any talk of retirement would come into his ear and come out for the other.
