What are we all going to play this weekend?

The beginning of the year is always smooth, with the developers returning to work after the holiday, but things are starting to happen again. That’s nice. I say as if, you know, I no longer had more games to play than time to play them.

What are you going to play this weekend? Here’s what we’re clicking on!

I haven’t entirely decided, but this weekend will be Ian’s amazing adventures in Hitman 3 or more Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. So, the topic is going to be murder.

I started a new farm in Stardew Valley, but on my cell phone. It makes me play just a day or two at a time, instead of being able to play for entire seasons. A very pleasant pace. Removed the desire for min-max as well. Many of my farm (that of the lake, of course) are beautiful pastures and woods.

Colm

This weekend, I will be killing mostly the same people in Hitman 3.

Again, I’m spending more time with Ian Hitman, who still has a lot of murders to commit. Spelunky 2 also pays, but I’m really scared of the game. I just want to win the first level, that’s all I ask.

Hitman 3 was released, but I don’t think I want to spend money on it right now. This has been a good week for smaller and cheaper game releases, however, between resource manager Dyson Sphere Program, Zelda-like Ocean’s Heart and roguelite Skul: The Hero Slayer leaving early access. I will choose one of these on a whim and try.

I’ve been playing some of the old PS2 Ratchet & Clank games recently, after seeing them demolished in speedruns at AGDQ. I won’t try to play them that fast, but I want to see if I can get all the skill points. I’m also probably going to play Minecraft, my friends and I made a home on an iceberg the other day next to some cute polar bears (!).

Jake

I have been messing with Hitman 3 this week and would definitely like to finish it over the weekend. Part of me wants to face the most difficult challenges, the rest wants to dress like a cowboy and beat my enemies to death with a mop. Let’s see where my mood takes me.

It’s Hitman 3 weekend, baby. I finally put my gloves on this one, and it feels so good to release. I crushed someone in a grape crusher yesterday. I’m directing Hitman 3 to the site, but it’s one of those games that I also can’t stop playing in my spare time. What an absolute banger from my favorite bald boy from the barcode.

I finished Assassin’s Creed Valhalla earlier this week, and yet my answer is still Assassin’s Creed Valhalla? I may have completed the main storyline, but there is still one more county on my to-do list before I conquered all of England, as well as two more targets on my Order’s murder list to eliminate. It doesn’t end until it ends, as they say.

Nate

In a moment of feverish inspiration while recording this week’s podcast, I bought and downloaded the entire Dishonored series, live in the air. So I suppose I should probably go on that wild moment and play them, huh?

Ollie

I am very interested in trying the early access to the Dyson Sphere Program, having heard it compared to Factorio and Satisfactory. I have no idea if these comparisons have any merit, but I’m sure I’ll find out.

But you, dear reader, what are you playing?
