“Welcome to ‘Hot Topics’, Sharina Hudson – Getting out of my car … with my money!”
After sharing a clip from the documentary “Wendy Williams: What a Mess!” – set to follow the premiere of “Wendy Williams: The Movie” this Sunday at Lifetime – Williams welcomed Sharina Hudson in her “Hot Topics” segment.
It was the first time that she called her ex-husband’s lover “Kelvin” by name on her show, and she didn’t stop there.
“Welcome to popular topics, Sharina Hudson!” said Williams with as much vision as he could. Then, literally drinking her coffee – or tea, as the case may be, she added, “Getting out of my car … with my money.”

Then, in a shocking move so bold that it left his audience stunned and even his production company Suzanne Bass scowling, Williams continued. “Good morning, Journey,” she continued [correct spelling unknown -ed.]. Who is she talking about? Not Jurnee Smollett.
“She’ll be almost three – I think she’ll be three next month, don’t you know?” She said with a knowing look. That’s right, Wendy just cited the name of the baby her ex-husband had with his long-time masseuse girlfriend
Then, with a final malicious smile, she concluded, “Good morning, Kelvin“, emphasizing the legal spelling of Kevin Hunter’s name”, before adding with disdain: “It’s my truth”.
The documentary largely narrates when Wendy found herself one of the hottest topics of entertainment when her marriage to Kevin finally came to an end. Wendy admitted that she knew about his years of infidelity, and even that he was having an affair with Sharina.
For her, however, the last straw was when he got her lover pregnant. And then, after 22 years of marriage, Wendy filed for divorce in April 2019. “I am a very forgiving person, but there is one thing I could never be a part of, and that thing happened,” said Wendy New York Times Magazine at the time.

This month, Williams said he has not yet met Sharina’s daughter, Entertainment Tonight, “I don’t want her to meet you.” Also, while she hopes to see Kevin in her life, at her 20-year-old son’s college graduation, for example, she hopes he doesn’t bring Sharina or her son.
“Your dad will always be your dad. I didn’t see any change like that,” she said ET on Tuesday. “But what I see is my tolerance from afar to understand that he should be at Kevin’s graduation from college and will taste better than bringing the secondary piece and the girl.”
At this point, it is unknown how much Wendy will be willing to share both in the biopic of her life – in which she was heavily involved – and in the documentary that will follow. But you can be sure that both will be “hot topics” in the coming days.
In the meantime, you can check out the entire episode below [Wendy gets into it at the 4:08 mark].
