You can’t blame the Kardashians’ unique way of spelling names for this one. During an appearance in The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Andy Cohen explained that everyone has incorrectly pronounced “Khloé Kardashian.” He noted that the “E” in Khloé’s name has an accent, but did not investigate why Khloé’s own sisters pronounce his name incorrectly.
“It’s Khlo-ay,” Cohen told Fallon. “Khlo-ay is the name. There is a little bit of an accent on the name.”

Cohen said that Kris Jenner also confirmed the pronunciation. He paid a visit to the Kardashian-Jenner family in their natural habitat in Calabasas, California, for their new show, For real, a seven-part series premiering on E! which covers the history of the reality show.
“I went to interview the Kardashians at Khloé’s home,” added Cohen. “I went in and said, ‘Khlo-ay,’ and the other women asked, ‘Excuse me?’ And Kris said, ‘Yes, that’s really how it is pronounced.’ “

“There’s a little something on top of the name, why am I the only one who has this?” Cohen told Fallon.
Glam notes that Khloé is not the only famous name that has been mispronounced – and remains. Ariana Grande (say: Grand-ee) and Chrissy Teigen (TIE-gen, not TEE-gen) noticed that they just accepted that their names will never be pronounced correctly.
