Costumes for the first, power-ups for the second
It is not every day that we receive two stories of amiibo!
While we will reach both, Monster Hunter Rise is undoubtedly the lead here, as Capcom has just explained what the amiibo trio will do in their new Monster hunter video analysis.
As a reminder, it will be sent with Magnamalo (monster), Palamute (dog) and Palico (cat) amiibo, all with a different feature. The first unlocks the Magnamalo flavored armor for your hunter, the Palamute amiibo will give you a new Palamute cosmetic style, and the last (you guessed it) pairs with a Palico cosmetic. You can read all of it in the gallery below.
Note that there is another easy part to lose on the site: “you can also play the daily lottery to win several useful items.” Typically, this is a canned type of amiibo feature that dates back so far Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is possible that any amiibo works as a sort of luck.
Oh, and we also have one more idea of what Super Mario 3D World: Bowser Fury functionality will imply, thanks to a new landing page of the site. Simply put, the lower amiibo section (which involves the Cat Mario and Cat Peach figures at this point) states: “Use the adorable new Cat Mario and Cat Peach amiibo figures to unlock power-ups.”
“Unlock power-ups.” I am sure that some of you, not collectors, will be relieved to know that it is not essential. That said, the Cat duo has been readily available since it was pre-ordered, while the Monster hunter the numbers are still linked to GameStop (and since then they have been sold online, but it is also GameStop, so I am hesitant).
