Bungie responded to the wonderful attack error of 12 Destiny 2 players by telling players to have fun while it lasts.

Writing on Bungie.net, community chief Chris ‘Cozmo’ Shannon said the developer was in no hurry to fix the bug, which Destiny 2 players have been taking advantage of in recent weeks.

Destiny’s attacks usually have a maximum limit of six players – and in fact are designed for six players, although you can play them with fewer guardians.

The YouTuber Scrub video below details how to activate the fault. It involves the leader of a second squad of six people joining your group when you see two seconds on the launch timer. Although the weather is tight, the fault works reliably enough to have fueled mischief in attacks on Destiny.

For its part, Bungie seems cold with what is happening in the game and said that it is not rushing a correction.

“The big buzz in the community this week has been the players discovering a way to engage four squads in activities aimed at one,” said Cozmo.

“We have been watching the 12-player raid bustle and we are happy that you are having fun. We are not rushing a fix for this and it is totally good if you want to try and have fun. Just keep going. Remember that we did not create these activities waiting for a Guardian clown car to arrive, then you might experience some oddities. “

A fix is planned for before the Grandmaster Nightfalls starts on March 16, “but you are free to have fun until the fix is released,” added Cozmo.

It’s a welcome approach from Bungie, who was sometimes quick to solve problems with Destiny, even when they resulted in players having a lot of fun. His approach this time reminds me of the broken Prometheus Lens, which I felt helped to make Destiny 2 fun again at a time when he was struggling.
