Mike Myers and Dana Carvey take a walk down memory lane when they take the place of their iconic Wayne’s World characters in a new Super Bowl commercial.

In a ‘shameless celebrity appearance’, Cardi B injects his contagious personality alongside Wayne and Garth, while seeking to encourage viewers to eat places in support of restaurants that fought during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ex-stars of Saturday Night Live now they’re opening up about their reunion as they talk about rapper Bodak Yellow.

“She had such a funny and quirky vibe and it made me laugh a lot,” said Carvey of his comedic touch.

True to the famous SNL skit and two feature films, the one-minute ad opens with the theme song and is followed by the pair’s instruction to eat locally.

“As a local access program, we want everyone to support local restaurants, but we would never manipulate it in the way that all these other commercials do,” they announce.

The ad then continues to insist on the ‘eating local’ angle of manipulation, including wind-blown glamor photos and hosts holding miniature babies while declaring ‘never shamelessly trust a celebrity cameo’, as Cardi makes his appearance.

‘Yes, eat local,’ she says in Cardi’s typical attitude and intonation, before the trio nodded to the popular TikTok haircut and changed wardrobes with each other.

Wayne and Garth end up dressed in Cardi’s forest-green feather cloak, and she reappears in Myers’ outfit before they try a few more times.

The Bronx native in New York also wears the combination of Garth’s trademark blonde wig and flannel shirt while leaving the robot on the screen. Then, everyone returns to their seats in the famous basement setting of their publicly accessible TV program.

‘Wayne’s World, local food, delicious time, excellent’, they shout in unison for the closing jam session, in an Uber Eats spin on the theme song.

Making the decision to join SNL alumni and Uber Eats, the hitmaker told People: ‘You know I love to eat, and now we have to support our local restaurants, like The Griddle Cafe in Los Angeles. the locals are fighting now, and it’s up to us to EAT LOCAL!
