In 2009, the famous voice actor Maurice LaMarche declared “Talk Like William Shatner Day” on March 22 in honor of Shatner’s birthday. In 2010, actor and comedian Kevin Pollak joined him to celebrate the day with Shatner’s dueling impersonations. Now, 11 years later, they have come together to honor the man who launched a thousand personifications.
LaMarche and Pollak celebrate Shatner’s 90th birthday
Maurice LaMarche (Animaniacs, Futurama) and Kevin Pollak (The wonderful Mrs. Maisel) are big fans of William Shatner, and both made impressions of him professionally, with LaMarche doing the voice of Shatner (or Shatner type characters) in the animation, and Pollak making impersonating Shatner a big part of his stand-up career.
