During today’s presentation of Pokémon Presents, the company unveiled new game footage for New Pokémon Snap, the long-awaited sequel to the classic N64. The new footage showed the lush and colorful scenery that you will explore in the Lental region.
New Pokémon Snap will have players taking on the role of a pokémon photographer who will collaborate with the Pokémon specialist in the region, Professor Mirror, and his assistant Rita to observe pokémon in their natural habitats. The gameplay remains similar to that of its predecessor, but introduces some new mechanics, such as a photo sharing feature that will allow you to share your photos online, as well as a rating system so you can compete with other players around the world.
The new footage is just one of the many ads featured. The Pokémon The company also announced that it was working on some projects focused on the fourth generation of Pokémon titles, this includes remakes for the original DS titles and Pokémon Legends: Arceus: an open-world RPG set in the Sinnoh region that takes place long before the other Pokémon titles.
New Pokémon Snap will be released on April 30 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
