Watch the uncut Brady / Gronk T-Mobile commercial banned from the Super Bowl

T-Mobile said the ad ended up being banned because of a protected rights agreement with the official sponsor of telco.

But the request for T-Mobile to remove mentions specifically for Tampa Bay indicates that this is not the whole story. A National Football League spokesman declined to comment on the specific reason for the ad’s rejection.

One of the ads in the T-Mobile game featured a similar concept about the consequences of an irregular service, but it featured Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. In this announcement, which has been going on for a few years, Stefani is chatting with Levine on video and tells him that she is ready to start dating again (after Gavin Rossdale’s divorce). She tells Levine that she is looking for someone from another country who is “cultured and sensitive and someone who is not threatened by a strong and confident woman”. But because of the irregular service, that’s not what Levine heard, and he put Stefani with country star Shelton.

Of course, following the line of these stories, Brady’s terrible service ends with him winning another Super Bowl, and Stefani is engaged to Shelton, so maybe it’s not such a bad thing.
