Governor Andrew Cuomo is now exposed as a liar and a fraud: for months, he claimed that New York was doing much better against the virus than other states when it came to death rates in nursing homes – even with his staff deleting data that proved otherwise.
In fact, he wrote a book about his supposed successes at the time he oversaw the cover-up and called everyone who questioned his version of reality a politically motivated liar.
A specific target of his “It’s all politics” lies was The Post, which first exposed the deadly order that forced health care facilities to admit COVID-positive patients that hospitals wanted to get rid of.
But most of the national media swallowed his lies with a hook, line and sinker. In fact, for months they flattered him – insisting that he was facing reality, the exact opposite of then President Donald Trump.
In other words, much of the press was cluelessly helping their cover-up, rather than doing their job to find out the truth.
