[WATCH] John Krasinski kisses Pete Davidson in monologue

John Krasinski, who hosted Saturday Night LiveThe first episode of 2021 last night, already made it clear that he wants to leave his role on Tinder’s favorite show, The office. But even the sacred stage of Studio 8H cannot protect Krasinski from the demands of Office fans, as was clear from last night’s opening monologue. “Jim, you’re different,” says Ego Nwodim to Krasinski, who tells him that he is preparing for the role in Jack Ryan, and also that his name is not Jim. “You need to stop this, Jim is soft,” Nwodim informs him. “When you touch Jim, your hand comes in like memory foam.” Kenan Thompson asks Krasinski to “kiss Pam”, and Pete Davidson offers to play the role. One thing leads to another and Krasinski plants one in Davidson in a sweet, though predictable, ending with Krasinski first SNL monologue.
