Watch Jazmine Sullivan present the National Anthem at the Super Bowl [Video]

A country singer and an R&B powerhouse came together on Sunday to honor America. And football.

Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan joined in the song before Super Bowl 55, performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. See the footage of his presentation of the National Anthem below:

Grammy-nominated nine times, Church is preparing to release Heart and Soul, a three album project consisting of 24 new songs; Heart falls on April 16, with AND following on April 20, and Soul ending things on April 23rd. And Sullivan, a Grammy nominee 12 times, released the EP Heaux Tales in January.

Exhibiting on CBS, this year’s Super Bowl is between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After the big game, Eye Network will broadcast a preview episode of its kind Equalizer restart, starring Queen Latifah.

Other performances at this year’s Super Bowl include SHE singing “America the Beautiful”, The Weeknd headlining the halftime show and Miley Cyrus performing at TikTok’s first back door show. National young poet Laureate Amanda Gorman, who illuminated Twitter with her powerful appearance in the possession of President Joe Biden, will also perform at the microphone, reciting an original poem.
