The Washington Football Team gave the right guard Brandon Scherff the franchise mark for the second year in a row. This will give you a $ 18.04 million 1-year contract for the 2021 season. The team still has time to work on a long-term deal, something they haven’t been able to do in the past 3 years.
The WFT now has two options: letting Scherff play for 2021 for 120% of last season’s wages ($ 18.04 million) or reaching a long-term deal by July 15.
If he plays on the label, he will be the 4th highest-paid OL in the NFL. If it were a new deal, Wash could reduce the limit on bonuses and incentives. https://t.co/F7wRtq6KMI
