In a new upload, the professional Call of Duty player JGOD confirms that Warzone is, in fact, Pay to Win.
As if Warzone didn’t have enough problems to deal with at the moment, it seems that the popular Battle Royale now contains Pay to Win elements. For those unfamiliar with the concept, a Pay to Win game is exactly what it sounds like:
Players who choose to spend extra money on the game are rewarded with a better chance of winning.

This problem gets everyone else out of the water, even the superpowered DMR that is ruining the war zone. At the moment, Warzone has many important problems that need to be fixed, but none is more serious than this.
New war zone plan is paying to win
Even after a new nerf, the Mac-10 is now dominating Warzone, thanks to a new Pay to Win Blueprint.
Recently, Cold War weapons were integrated into the war zone and worked as badly as you’d expect. With tons of new weapons entering the game at the same time, it is clear that the balance was completely unbalanced.
The DMR 14, Mac-10, Type 63 and Akimbo Diamattis were too powerful to dominate Battle Royale. Now, a new Warzone nerf patch has fixed some of the problems, but not all.

For example, although the Mac-10 now has less headshot damage, players still consider it more than viable. And there is a reason for that.
The basic Mac-10 is now in a much better place than before, but there is a way to keep your weapon broken. Those who dive in and buy the Gallantry Blueprint for the Mac-10 receive a tremendous advantage in the game.
According to JGOD, a professional Call of Duty and YouTuber player, the Mac-10 Blueprint is significantly better than its basic counterpart. In fact, Gallantry will do as much damage to an enemy player’s limbs as a headshot with the basic Mac-10.
This is an insane boost and is clearly a Pay to Win element in the game. If it was just a shot to the head that hadn’t been changed, it would be one thing.
But the Gallantry Mac-10 actually has higher damage numbers around, including body shots. And according to JGOD, this is a major cause for concern.
Do other war zone projects also pay to win?
The fact that Gallantry is so clearly broken is extremely worrying, as it raises a big question. Are other war zone projects also increasing weapons in unfair ways?
JGOD believes that this could be a real problem in Call of Duty: Warzone, going forward.
“There is no way this could be a mistake,” says YouTuber. “It’s like they take the damage values from the MP5 and basically deliver them to the Mac-10, with the Fennec rate of fire.”
JGOD also wants to know if other Blueprints are affecting Warzone since launch. After all, there was no reason to try them out until now.
We are grateful that there is no broken DMR 14 project being found … yet. However, a player from the war zone may already have the best strategy to win DMR 14.
Recently, we saw new details for the second major leak of War Zone maps online. Hopefully, when this new content is ready to be released, the game will be fixed for all users.
But if Activision doubles on this new Pay to Win system, we imagine that the player base will soon see a rapid decline.
