If recent research can be believed, there may be plans for the Verdansk war zone map to switch to Call of Duty: Mobile Battle Royale mode at some point in the near future.
If you are a fan of Call of Duty: Mobile, but are looking for a new Battle Royale map to sink your teeth into, then there may be good news for you on the horizon.
In a recent survey shared by Twitter user and CoD leaker ModernWarzone, Activision is asking players directly if they are interested in “new real battle maps” coming into the game, specifically mentioning Warzone’s Verdansk map and Black Ops 4 Blackout map as candidates.
New research may point to Warzone’s Verdansk coming to Call of Duty: Mobile.
Of course, this is not infallible proof that Verdansk is coming to the game, however, it seems that Activision is at least considering this, which makes sense.
Verdansk has been available since Warzone was released to the public and Call of Duty: Mobile receives content from Modern Warfare and Warzone from time to time, with AS VAL coming to the game in the near future.
Furthermore, with speculation and rampant leaks about Verdansk exploding and possibly being removed from the game in April 2021, it makes sense for Activision to want the map to live somehow after going into the main title.

Still, this is far from a confirmation that Verdansk is coming to Call of Duty: Mobile and even if it is, it may be a while before fans see this in the game, especially considering how massive and detailed it is.
Interestingly, a job list suggested that a version of Warzone was in development for mobile devices last year, so it is unclear whether that is still the plan or whether developers now simply want to bring the map to the full mobile game.
If Verdansk comes, then it would not be surprising if some serious changes had to be made to the map itself. Maybe we will end up getting a reduced version or maybe we will not receive anything related to the map. Only time will tell.
