Warriors 2020-21 schedule: dates, start times, NBA opponents in the second half

The Warriors’ playoff tie begins on March 11.

That’s when the Golden State will start the second half of the season, the NBA announced on Wednesday, playing against the LA Clippers at the Staples Center. It is the first of 36 games the Warriors will play while trying to solidify as a candidate for the Western Conference.

Here is the full schedule of the Warriors for the second half of the regular season.

The Warriors will have their first glimpse of the Philadelphia 76ers, leader of the Eastern Conference, on March 23, at the Chase Center, after not facing each other during the first half of the regular season. The Golden State also did not play against the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans, and they face each other three times with each potential opponent in the NBA playoffs.

Three games each against the Houston Rockets (14th in the Western Conference) and Oklahoma City Thunder (13th in the West), two more against the Washington Wizards (13th in the Eastern Conference) and a pair against the Atlanta Hawks (11th in the East) offer ample opportunities for the Warriors to increase their winning and losing record, which can be vital in the packed Western Conference.

The Warriors will complete the second half of the regular season on May 16, when they host the Grizzlies. Until then, we will surely know if the Golden State playoff drought has extended another year.

The NBA play-in tournament for the 7-10 seeds will take place from May 18 to 21, and the 2021 playoffs will begin on May 22.
