Non-Super Smash Bros. game fans. they were probably a little confused to see Wario climbing trend charts on Twitter and other social media platforms the day before, but those inside were struggling to find out whether the harmful fighter had been essentially excluded from the game or not.
The update from version 11.0.0 to Smash Ultimate fell last night with the release of Pyra and Mythra, where opinions quickly began to grow that Wario probably had his top-level status revoked due to the nerfs he was hit in the patch for.

While the minigame master has managed to be among the best characters in Smash Ultimate for most of the game’s life so far, cushioning just two of his main options may have caused his house of cards to collapse through flatulence – but not everyone agrees on that. .
The combination of Up Tilt and Wario Waft has earned the character many actions, games and sets over the past two years, but the iconic duo is now just dust in the wind.

Wario’s big hands to the sky saw his active frames supposedly reduced from 11 frames to just 7, while his half and full Wafts saw 3 additional boot frames docked to make using them in a much stricter, if not impossible, sequence. in the cases.
These two / three changes were apparently enough to make one of Wario’s best players immediately leave the rider behind for greener pastures, although another thinks the reaction may be a little out of proportion.
Now I have absolutely 0 reason to play Wario again

Former EVO runner-up TSM | Tweek, believes that Wario was the hardest hit in the new update and tweeted that he no longer has a reason to choose the character instead of Diddy Kong and Sephiroth.
Previously, he had the ever-hungry combatant at the bottom of the S layer after Steve from Minecraft was added to the game.
While Solary | Glutonny joked that he would give up Smash because he would never win with Wario again, the best French player said after testing him in the stream that he could still remain in the upper echelon.

“If Wario was like that from day one, I think he would be the best,” said Glutonny in his first flow after the patch. “But now that he’s changed, it’s going to take getting used to.”
He admits that the additional frames will make Wario much more difficult to use online, but the fact that his up air and neutral air combos / technological pursuits are still in progress means that he continues to have strong options in his arsenal.
It will probably take weeks or months to really see how Wario is doing as a Smash fighter now, but the internet was definitely ready to see him hit by a nerf stick.
They can only be celebrating very early.
