War zone player discovers totally useless resource

A new aspect of Call of Duty: Warzone was discovered by a player. The only problem is that it is a feature that does not have much purpose in the grand scheme of the multiplayer shooter.

In a new video from the TrueGameData YouTube channel, it was discovered that Call of Duty: Warzone it’s a slightly different experience in private compared to public lobbies. What this specifically means is that the way damage is done to enemies varies slightly. For the most part, the differences are not large, but it is still strange to see inconsistencies appear between the two game modes.

Based on TrueGameData’s own research, these variations in damage numbers also depend on the weapon you are using and the distance you are from those you are shooting at. For example, the MP5 in public and private lobbies has the same damage output until you are 52 meters or more away from your enemies. At this point, the damage of the weapon in private matches is, for some reason, greater than you would find in a public game. Some of the other weapons that would also look like this include the P90 and the Striker 45.

It is important to note that the TrueGameData video itself recognizes that this information may be defective, but they have also done extensive testing to see if what is being stated is factual. There is also a chance that Infinity Ward doesn’t even know that this is currently a problem and if they are informed of it, perhaps a future patch can balance War zone in all types of lobbying.

Until that moment, Call of Duty: Warzone it can currently be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. If you want to follow our game coverage in the future, you can do so by following our page here.
