Warzone players have revealed a feature they really want to add to the Battle Royale Call of Duty title – and it is copied directly from their main competitors, Fortnite and Apex Legends.
Fortnite was possibly the greatest game that ever existed at its peak, popularizing the Battle Royale genre for millions and millions of fans worldwide.
This sparked a huge wave of new BR games, including Apex Legends, which remains super popular today and, of course, Warzone.
That said, while the games are all different, they have several similarities and are not afraid to get ideas from each other when certain features work. For example, Fortnite introduced the Reboot Van as a direct copy of Apex’s Respawn Beacon.

Warzone is still in its infancy when compared to Fortnite and Apex Legends.
There is now a feature in Fortnite and Apex Legends that Warzone players want to introduce to Verdansk, and it could be a complete game changer.
At the moment, most of you will judge your falls primarily based on the location of the first circle. For example, you may want to drop Quarry, but if the circle is on the southwest side of the map, you can point to the Train Station or West Walk.
What some players want to see is no first circle marker when flying – you choose your drop based on where you like to land, rather than where the circle is spreading a little more in the lobby and it also means you have to adapt quickly. This idea was put by CIassic_Ghost on Reddit, and you can see what he means here.

This proved to be a very popular concept with other Warzone players, accumulating thousands of positive votes.
That said, there are some detractors too, with some players concerned that it would add too much RNG to the game or end up with players always falling into the same positions.
It would definitely be a more interesting drop, but whether it would work in the long run has yet to be seen. Fortnite and Apex Legends clearly have some permanent staying power, so they’re doing something right – maybe Warzone could copy that to help strengthen the game even more.
