Want free weed? Walled Lake dispensary offering marijuana to anyone with a COVID-19 vaccine

A Walled Lake marijuana dispensary is offering free marijuana to anyone who can prove they have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

‘Pot for Shots’ – one of the most nuanced efforts to increase immunity among the public in the fight against coronavirus – was revealed by GreenHouse of Walled Lake and Ubaked Cannabis Company in Burton.

For anyone who presents written proof that they have received their vaccine COVID-19, they will receive a pre-laminated joint, with no need to purchase, the companies say.

“Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of getting Covid19 vaccination while we, as a community, are fighting this terrible pandemic.” POT FOR SHOTS “is our way of showing our commitment to helping the community return to normal,” said Jerry Millen, founder of Greenhouse of Walled Lake. “We support the safe and responsible use of Cannabis and hope that this will be the beginning of the end for this insidious pandemic.”

While free weed may seem attractive to some and an opportunistic brand for dispensaries, motivating people to get the COVID-19 vaccine is a real problem that the state is facing.

Public mistrust mixed with the launch of the vaccine by chance is painting the pandemic inoculation phase as a phase of dysfunction.

While disruptions in the supply chain and finding the best way to streamline injections are always challenging, reports from the national media in recent days reveal that the lack of doses of COVID-19 purchased by the federal government may be among the biggest obstacles to overcome.
