If you are looking forward to more WandaVision-style action and want the answer in the comics, you may be limited if you want it to be printed.
Marvel Comics informed retailers that its four comic book collections primarily related to WandaVision sold out at the distributor level in February, and the new prints will not be ready until the end of April.
The Vision Complete Collection, Vision & Scarlet Witch: The Wanda and Vision Saga, House of M and James Robinson: The Complete Collection’s Scarlet Witch are all on hold, with all the copies that comic book stores and bookstores now have to be until April 21st at least.
The first three have already sold out on Amazon, with copies available only on their second-hand Amazon Marketplace service at twice the cover price (or more).
Now, if you can read digitally, they all remain available – that’s how digital works.
Not to mention Scarlet Witch / Doctor Doom’s planned Darkhold event, which was originally scheduled for 2020. It was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic, but there are signs that it may arrive later this year.
Marvel has a general record of being very conservative in printing collections for long-term sales, rather than favoring smaller runs that limit your financial risk.
While this strategy has its benefits, it leaves a publisher open to scarcity like this – which Marvel previously experienced with its Infinity Gauntlet collection during the Avengers: Infinity War period. Dark Horse experienced similar problems, with the success of the Umbrella Academy of Netflix burning their stock of comics, leading to a period when comics were not available to most retailers.
