WandaVision’s Kat Dennings teases Marvel’s secret project soon

Kat Dennings reveals another Marvel Studios project that is not WandaVision, seeming to suggest its return in Marvel’s What If …? animated series. Inside WandaVision, the first original series from Marvel Studios now airing on Disney +, Dr. Darcy Lewis (Dennings) returns to the Marvel cinematic universe for the first time since 2013 Thor: The Dark World. Now a talented astrophysicist, Darcy joins SWORD captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and FBI agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) to investigate the “Hex” anomaly in Westview, New Jersey, where former avenger Wanda Maximoff ( Elizabeth Olsen) is broadcasting the reality-changing sitcom WandaVision. Darcy’s next assignment? It’s classified.

“There are some things I did for Marvel that are coming out that are not [WandaVision]. But I probably can’t say, “said Dennings Extra. “Let’s just leave it at that.”

The 2 broken Girls star said earlier that “probably not” will meet Thor co-star Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman in the film directed by Taika Waititi Thor: love and thunder, where Jane Foster de Portman holds the power of the mighty Thor.

“I didn’t get a call, so I kind of doubt it, since they’re filming right now,” said Dennings IGN when asked about a Thor 4 Occupation. “Probably not. But whatever Marvel asks me, the answer is always yes.”

Hemsworth and Portman are among the previously announced Marvel stars, lending their voices to What if…?, Marvel Studios’ first animated series exploring “what if” scenarios across the 23-film MCU. Thor franchise stars Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Waititi (Korg) also voice their characters on the showrunner on the AC series Bradley says it’s full of surprise cameos.

“I can say that there are more than a few surprising MCU appearances,” Bradley tweeted last month, “and the characters can and do appear in more than one episode!”

The first season of 10 episodes of Marvel’s What if…? debuts this summer on Disney +. Also starring Tessa Thompson, MCU debutant Christian Bale and the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy, the Hemsworth and Portman-starry Thor: love and thunder opens in theaters on May 6, 2022.

Starring Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings and Randall Park, new Marvel episodes WandaVision debuts on Fridays at Disney +.
