WandaVision Trailer reveals new footage of phase 4 MCU characters

Marvel Studios unveils a new WandaVision video, revealing a new look at the next Disney + MCU show with Scarlet Witch and Vision.

Marvel Studios presents a WandaVision trailer, revealing a new look for the next Disney + show featuring Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany). Both introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Vision developed a romantic relationship throughout their appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, in the culminating moments of Avengers: Infinity War, Scarlet Witch was forced to kill Vision to destroy the Mental Stone – only for Thanos (Josh Brolin) to bring him back and kill him again. Although many heroes died in Infinite War came back in Avengers: Endgame, Vision was not one of them.

Therefore, WandaVision it is expected to explain how Vision is back and finally put the focus on Scarlet Witch, who has been a supporting character in the MCU since its introduction. Previous WandaVision trailers have revealed a lot about the upcoming Disney + show, including the series format to model after classic sitcoms over the decades, which are apparently connected to the powers of Scarlet Witch and the multiverse. In addition to Olsen and Bettany, WandaVision will star Teyonah Parris as adult Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes – who is rumored to be Marvel Comics villain Agatha Harkness. Now, a new special look at WandaVision is revealed.

During the Disney Parks’ magical Christmas celebration special at ABC, a new WandaVision trailer has been revealed. This new look at the MCU show arrives just two weeks before the WandaVision series premiere at Disney +, Friday, January 15. Check out the new teaser below.

The first part of the new WandaVision The trailer focuses on Wanda and Vision as a couple, particularly as they are a strange couple with no birthday, music or rings. This is not surprising, of course, since they are trapped in a strange sitcom-like world. There must be some oddities in their lives. Opening holes in the illusion are both Agnes de Hahn, who interrupts a “scene” to start again, and Monica de Parris, who appears and does not know who she is. Agnes also seems surprised by the twins of Wanda and Vision, which indicates that the comedy world may be her creation and that the couple is doing things she did not expect, such as having children. Marvel is not yet showing the twins, but considering the few scenes that show Wanda and Vision with their children in the various trailers, children are likely to have a key role in the show itself.

Still, in true Marvel style, fans will have to wait until WandaVision debut before learning everything the studio has in store. As with previous WandaVision trailers, this latest preview doesn’t offer a lot of new footage and the footage included is very similar to what has already been released. Of course, that means there is still a lot that hasn’t been seen in the episodes. Fortunately, there are only two weeks until WandaVision debuts on Disney + so fans don’t have to wait much longer to find out exactly what the first Marvel Studios show has in store.
