Get ready to tune into what’s being touted as the strangest Marvel show: WandaVision debuted not one, but two episodes at Disney Plus on January 15th. The show is operating similarly to The Mandalorian taking the place relax-at-the-weekend.

After the initial downfall of two episodes, Disney is taking on a more controlled schedule, releasing one episode a week. That means we’ll have all nine episodes of the first Phase Four MCU series by the first week of March (don’t worry, soon there will be more Marvel content on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, opening fifteen days later).

Here is the full release schedule for WandaVision:

  • Episode 1: Available now
  • Episode two: Available now
  • Episode 3: Available January 22
  • Episode 4: Available January 29
  • Episode 5: Available February 5th
  • Episode 6: Available February 12
  • Episode 7: Available February 19
  • Episode 8: Available February 26
  • Episode 9: Available March 5

In addition to the first two episodes, Disney also launched a story feature that gave us a glimpse behind the scenes and some hints of what’s to come on Friday.

Although the initial reactions were pretty positive across the board, they are not exactly the definitive quality indicator, as Wonder Woman 1984 proven. But it won’t be surprising if Marvel takes the wild premise out of WandaVision.

Set after Avengers: Endgame, follows Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch, and Vision, living their best lives in suburbs influenced by a 1950s sitcom. But – spoiler – didn’t Vision die in Avengers: Infinity War? Unsurprisingly, not everything is as it seems, with all the teasers apparently pointing to Wanda using his powers to build a reality to deal with his pain.

Episodes 1, 2 and 3 are half an hour long, emulating the format of a sitcom. But once the series unravels that construction, the duration of the episodes “will begin to vary more, yes,” Marvel boss Kevin Feige told TVLine.

Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Teyonah Parris, Katheryn Hahn, Randall Park and Kat Dennings star.
