Episodes from the Marvel spinoff series start arriving at Disney + on January 15.
Social media reactions to the first screenings of the next Disney + show “WandaVision” are starting to emerge before the series’s premiere on January 15.
So far, there are many euphoric accolades for the spinoff of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which focuses on Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) as they try to live an idealized suburban life in the small town of Westview, where residents don’t know about. your powers. But the boundary between reality and illusion begins to blur for the pair in this series created by Jac Schaeffer, based on the character Scarlet Witch created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
The series is directed by Matt Shakman. Schaeffer serves as principal writer and executive producer alongside Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige. The series also starred Kathryn Hahn in a crazy role, in addition to Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings and Randall Park.
“WandaVision” was originally scheduled to be the second show for Disney + ‘s Marvel Cinematic Universe, after “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, which was delayed in 2021 due to production challenges related to the pandemic. But now, “WandaVision” will be the first.
Both programs are part of a growing arsenal of Marvel series that will debut on Disney +; others include “Hawkeye” and “Loki”, which will focus on the characters of Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston from their respective Marvel films. Additional Marvel Cinematic Universe programs aimed at Disney + include “Ms. Marvel ”,“ Moon Knight ”,“ She-Hulk, ”and“ What If …? ”With more certainty to come.
IndieWire has put together everything you need to know about the show here.
It is as if WANDAVISION was made specifically for me. Each of the three episodes I’ve seen captures (and rarely deviates from) the tone, humor and dialogue of a classic sitcom. Kathryn Hahn as the nosy neighbor is incredible.

The first 3 episodes of #WandaVision they are the legitimate business. A funny and well-adjusted knockout. It will satisfy the taste of sitcom fans and superheroes, especially when imitating the conventional. Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are great, but Teyonah Parris and Kathryn Hahn are the highlights pic.twitter.com/Y5SkhqPKko

Three episodes in #WandaVision and I am. Hooked. The series is not just a loving recreation of classic television programs (all beautiful), but the story is so compelling. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are adorable and hilarious. My most anticipated did not disappoint! pic.twitter.com/jZVE6zIlQB

I watched the first 3 eps of #WandaVision (2X) and is a jewel (hum or stone). It is silly, precise, fresh, funny (cue laugh track) and counter-intuitive. The big picture will be revealed (we only have glimpses so far that not everything is right in Westview), but I’m not in a hurry to leave the city. pic.twitter.com/cyEkWkh1Ed

Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are great together in #WandaVision. Their chemistry comes in brilliantly and they are a blast to watch. Bettany is especially having fun and it shows.
There is a lot of heart, fun, mystery and darkness between #Vanda and #The vision. pic.twitter.com/GCIJKBvB73

#WandaVision it is nothing less than BRIGHT. EASILY the most daring, most original and innovative venture of the MCU so far. The real genius comes from Jac Schaeffer’s clever, sharp and witty script and Bettany & Olsen’s electric performances. I had the biggest smile on my face the whole time. pic.twitter.com/exu8m5Dtp9

WANDAVISION is a tempting experiment with Lynch tones that is almost irritatingly dedicated to slowly unraveling its mystery. (I wanted more!) But a surprise: it’s funny! The jokes seem at home in the I LOVE LUCY / BEWITCHED-honoring world, Paul Bettany is a comedy star pic.twitter.com/ulKuupVgmH

#WandaVision it’s unlike anything you’ve seen before at the MCU. It’s so weird, funny, and the mystery is compelling (albeit slow. Fans of vintage sitcoms will love your commitment to details, even though they’re still genuinely funny.

Watched the first 3 episodes of #WandaVision yesterday. It’s weird and hilarious in ways Marvel doesn’t have a right to try, but they get it right anyway. Then it spreads in mystery just enough to keep you speculating and fascinated. I’m so excited to see how far it can go. pic.twitter.com/7PIFQiUNxF

I saw the first 3 episodes of #WandaVision And he fell head over heels in style, tone and narrative. A truly unique and interesting setting to see two extremely powerful superheroes. So much charm, danger and great Easter eggs. Fantastic practical effects and changes in proportion. Love it. pic.twitter.com/MUD0qpZNQx
