Wanda Maximoff, let me give you a hug.
1
First, the opening title sequence for this episode is a nod to the title sequence for Malcolm in the middle.
two
In fact, you can even see that the font style is the same as the font Malcolm in the middle.
3 –
The lyrics of the opening theme song are also quite revealing. They talk about not questioning what you did, asking if this is “all illusion”, but in the end the song says, “sit down and enjoy the show”.
4
When Pietro is shown in the opening sequence, the lyrics are: “Although there is no way of knowing who is coming to play.” Of course, this is a nod to Evan Peters’ surprise appearance in episode 5.
5
Just like Malcolm in Malcolm in the middle, Billy and Tommy break the fourth wall throughout the episode and speak directly to viewers.
6
Wanda and Vision’s house changed again to suit the era they were in, and parts of it resemble the interior of the house in Malcolm in the middle.
7
Of course, Wanda and Vision’s Halloween costumes are a brilliant and absolutely perfect nod to the original Scarlet Witch and Vision superhero costumes in Marvel comics.
8
Vision makes a casual comment that he had to wear the Halloween costume because it was the only thing in his closet. This means that Wanda probably got rid of everything else, so Vision would have to keep playing.
9
If you look closely, you’ll see that Pietro has a “mommy” tattoo and that Evan Peters does have that tattoo in real life.
10
Speaking of costumes, Pietro’s Halloween costume matches the original Quicksilver costume from Marvel comics.
11
And Billy’s costume in this episode matches Billy’s Wiccan costume from the comics.
12
While trick or treating, Pietro tells Billy and Tommy to “unleash hell, generation of demons”. Now, in the comics, Billy and Tommy were created using parts of Mephisto’s soul, and Mephisto is the devil.
13
Vision mentions to Wanda that if he had found “Shangri-La”, he would also not want to leave. In the Marvel comics, Shangri-La was founded by a version of Vision.
14
Tommy refers to Pietro using his speed as “rocking”, and then Wanda repeats the sentence. This is probably a nod to the film Blast offstarring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Evan Peters, also known as both versions of Pietro.
15
The Episode 6 commercial is definitely the best so far, but if we still follow the theory that each commercial represents a moment in Wanda’s life, I will continue to represent Wanda alone afterwards Endgame.
16
Furthermore, although we still have to find out how Wanda created Westview, the shark could represent someone (Mephisto?) Who has offered to help Wanda overcome Vision’s death, or someone is literally “pinching” Wanda’s magic.
17
The Incredibles and The Parent Trap both are playing at the cinema Wanda, Pietro and the twins pass by. The Incredibles is a film about a family of superheroes, like Wanda, Vision, Billy and Tommy. AND The Parent Trap it’s about two lost twins getting together, like Wanda and this version of Pietro.
18
Wanda and Pietro talk about their accent at one point, and this is not just a fun nod to Wanda’s accent slowly disappearing in MCU films, but in X-Men, Pietro de Evan Peters was raised in the United States, so he doesn’t have a Sokovian accent. So this is just another nod that this is not the MCU’s Quicksilver.
19
Pietro recalls that he was shot “for no reason”, which may be a sign of how unnecessary Mercury’s death was in Ultron era, and how fans still talk about how regular bullets shouldn’t have killed him.
20
In episode 6, Billy and Tommy finally show their powers, and I feel like a proud mother because I was just screaming, “My boys!” In the comics, Tommy has super speed, while Billy’s powers are similar to Wanda’s.
21
For Halloween, Agnes is dressed as a witch, and this is related to the season-wide theory that Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness.
22
Of course, Wanda warns Billy and Tommy not to pass Ellis Avenue, and that’s exactly where Vision is going to leave Hex. Furthermore, the Vision is literally at a crossroads and, in folklore, crossroads are often used to invoke the devil – in fact, I am just advancing at full speed with this Mephisto theory.
23
Darcy goes through several folders, one of which says: “Project C4-113”. This is not the first time that “113” appears in WandaVision, and could reference Avengers Issue 113, which features Scarlet Witch and Vision on the cover, and Scarlet Witch saying it will make the world pay for Vision’s death.
24
And another file says “Project M5-247” and “247” can be a reference to Avengers Issue # 247, which features the Eternals revealing their origin and Scarlet Witch and Vision trying to help Captain Marvel.
25
Darcy informs Monica that her cells have been rewritten, twice, since entering and leaving Hex. This is another hint that Monica may be gaining powers and will become Photon, just like in the comics.
26
Just like when Wanda saw Vision’s corpse in Episode 4, Wanda sees Pietro’s corpse after talking about feeling alone. This is what Pietro looked like the last time he saw him after he was shot in Ultron era.
27
When Darcy sends an email to Hayward’s cataract plans, you can see the names “James Gadd” and “James Alexander” as email options. James Gadd works in post-production at Marvel Studios, and James Alexander is a visual effects producer in WandaVision.
28
After Wanda blows up Pietro, you can see one of the fake headstones that says “Janell Sammelman”. Janell is the first assistant director in WandaVision.
29
When Wanda moves Westview to save Vision, she turns SWORD headquarters into a circus. In the comics, there is actually a turning point where Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Hawkeye join the circus.
30
In fact, at the beginning of this episode, I located a “22” and, although that might be overkill, Avengers Vol. 1, issue # 22 is actually the comic book where Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, you guessed it, join the circus.
31
And finally, just because I love to cry, we received official confirmation that Vision cannot survive outside of Hex. You can see that as soon as he was brought back to Westview, his body was healed.
