Also, why is he not making the film ‘Cambridge Analytica’ at AGBO.
Although you may not know Matt Shakman name, you definitely saw your work. He has directed episodes of various TV shows in recent years, such as War of Thrones, It’s always sunny in philadelphia, and The good wife, he was actually a child actor who appeared in series like Different blows, Only ten of usand many other hits from the 1980s.
After paying his debts for many years behind the camera, Marvel put him in charge of all episodes of WandaVision. Based on his work after seeing the first three episodes, I’m confident he was the right person for the job and I can’t wait to see the rest of the series.
Shortly after seeing the episodes, I talked to Shakman. He talked about the way he worked with Marvel, how the prolonged shutdown of COVID impacted the series, if they ended all nine episodes, how the full series is six hours old, if they had a lot of deleted scenes, like there’s a lot to find out as you go, if they talked about doing a second season of WandaVision, episode commercials, and more. Furthermore, while he was bound to direct the Cambridge Analytica film at AGBO, he explains why he is no longer attached.
As many of you know from the trailers, WandaVision occurs after the events of Avengers: Endgame, focusing on Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (Olson) and Vision (Paul Bettany) I got to see the first three episodes and they all take place in an alternative version of a classic sitcom. The first episode begins in the 1950s and everyone pulls the curtain on what is really happening little by little. You definitely never saw anything like WandaVision and I can’t wait to see where everything is going to be all right. The series also stars Kathryn Hahn, Kat Dennings, Teyonah Parris, and Randall Park. For more on WandaVision here are the latest footage and details on the show’s various theme songs.
Check out what Matt Shakman had to say below and below is exactly what we talked about. WandaVision is now broadcasting on Disney +. To learn more about the series, you can read Liz Miller’s brilliant review.
