WandaVision director Matt Shakman confirms that Jimmy Woo’s disappearance will be revealed

WandaVision Director Matt Shakman confirms that the secret identity of the missing witness of FBI agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) will be revealed somewhere in the Marvel cinematic universe. In episode 4, “We Interrupt This Program”, Woo meets with SWORD captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) outside the then-missing city of Westview, New Jersey – home to nearly 4,000 souls who say Woo and Rambeau do not exist. Woo is there looking for a witness he thinks has escaped from the cage, telling Rambeau about a new wrinkle: known associates and relatives never heard of the missing person with no name, some suspect of being Ralph Bohner, also known as “Fake Pietro” (Evan Peters).

“In terms of nobody knowing that Westview exists, Westview exists and that’s why Jimmy is there. But people in the environment forgot why Wanda did it,” said Shakman ComicBook.comin Phase Zero podcast about the “Hex” spell cast by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). “She created a kind of black hole there so that it won’t be interrupted and people won’t find their way too much. In terms of the missing person, there’s an answer to that and, you know, hang on.”

When ComicBook.com asked Park if the identity of Woo’s missing person would be revealed at a later date, he replied, “That’s a good question. That’s a good question, but I’ll leave a question.”

It is still unclear whether Ralph Bohner – a Westview resident and an involuntary neighbor of Wanda and the Vision (Paul Bettany), who becomes the mind-controlled “Fietro” manipulated by the witch Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) – is the missing person of Woo.

When asked if previous X-Men the star Peters would repeat his role as Bohner in the MCU, showrunner Jac Schaeffer said: “What I can say is that I think Evan Peters did an incredible job with this role and I found it a great joy to work with him and watch him on the screen, and you know, as a fan, I’m interested in seeing what he does next. “
