Walmart, Sam’s Club is now offering COVID vaccines in some NJ locations, says company

Nominations for COVID vaccines were made available at select Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in New Jersey, the company said on Thursday.

The stores have modern vaccines, the company said.

You can see the list of 34 stores here. The locations are in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hudson, Monmouth and Salem counties.

“Patients age 65 and older can make an appointment by calling the local pharmacy at Walmart or Sam’s Club or by calling the New Jersey Senior Hotline at (856) 249-7007,” a spokeswoman said in a statement.

The company did not immediately respond to requests for more information about whether another NJ. residents, such as people under the age of 64 with qualifying medical conditions, will be able to make appointments.

Walmart and Sam’s Club join other retailers in offering vaccines across the state, including CVS, Wegmans, Rite Aid and Stop & Shop.

As of 9:00 am on Thursday, 2,743,157 people in New Jersey had received at least one shot, according to the state’s COVID panel.
