Walmart offers COVID-19 vaccine on these NJ sites

NEW JERSEY – Walmart and Sam’s Club locations in New Jersey are administering Modern COVID-19 vaccines to people age 65 and older, officials announced on Thursday.

These residents can make their appointments by calling the New Jersey Senior Hotline at 856-249-7007.

Here are the sites that are offering the vaccine:

  • 1025 Black Horse Pike, Pleasantville
  • 2521 Route 130 S, Cinnaminson
  • 300 Park Place, Secaucus
  • 320 W Main St, Freehold
  • 2000 Clements Bridge, Deptford
  • 2000 Clements Bridge Rd Ste 116, Deptford

Walmart says the vaccine is available to priority groups designated by the state.

Detailing their plan in a blog post, Walmart employees said that when they reach maximum capacity, they expect to be able to administer 10 to 13 million doses per month.

“With 150 million people coming through our doors each week, we are in a unique position to reach people where they already shop,” said Walmart executive vice president of health and wellness, Dr. Cheryl Pegus.

“We are also a federal pharmaceutical partner and can accept federal dose distribution at all pharmacies at Walmart and Sam’s Club.”
