Wall St. opens up on lukewarm inflation data By Reuters

(Reuters) – Major US stock indexes opened higher on Wednesday after data showed that underlying consumer prices remained lukewarm in February, easing concerns about rising inflation as the economic recovery gains momentum .

The rose 74.2 points, or 0.23%, at the opening to 31906.96. The price rose 16.5 points, or 0.43%, at the opening to 3891.99, while the price rose 160.9 points, or 1.23%, to 13234.733 at the opening bell.
