Visible continues to expand the number of features and benefits included when you choose the service for your wireless needs. With their connection to Verizon, I can’t imagine that they will slow down anytime soon, which means that it will be increasingly difficult for many of us no to consider the change for them.
In a stack of updates announced today, Visible tells us that 5G is really here now, calls to Canada, Mexico, the United States Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico have been added, support for eSIM is active on select phones and Party Pay lets you add more users than ever before.
For 5G, they actually released this for selected Android devices in January (at no extra cost), but they expanded with the sale of the Galaxy S21 with 5G. It also looks like Visible allows you to bring your own 5G compatible phone, you just need to go through the IMEI checker to make sure it works.
Visible eSIM support is currently limited to a group of iPhone models with plans to support Android devices soon. For those unfamiliar, an eSIM is a built-in SIM card that you can program for a network without ever changing a SIM card in your phone or needing to go to an operator’s store. It is a brilliant technology that more companies have started to adopt in recent years, thanks to manufacturers that include eSIM in phones.
And finally, Visible has expanded its Party Pay feature to “an unlimited number of people”. Party Pay used to be limited to 4 people and could reduce your monthly payment to $ 25 / line for the Visible service. With Visible now allowing unlimited, you’d better go out and find some friends who need a super affordable service that works on the Verizon network.
Don’t have more than a few friends? This is OK! Party Pay reduces the monthly Visible price to $ 35 / line with 2 people at a party or $ 30 / line with 3 people.
