GREENSBORO, NC (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the Georgia Tech vs. Men’s basketball tournament semifinal game. Virginia ACC has been canceled. The game was scheduled for Friday, March 12, at 6:30 pm.
The cancellation follows a positive test, subsequent quarantine and contact tracking within the Virginia men’s basketball program. The team is adhering to the protocols described in the ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available at theACC.com (full report).
With the cancellation, Georgia Tech advances to the ACC Tournament championship game and will play tonight’s game winner, Florida State vs. North Carolina, which will now be released at 8:30 pm on ESPN.
