Video: What happened after WWE NXT “takeover: Vengeance Day” went offline

WWE NXT champion Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly exchanged words after last night’s NXT event “Takeover: Vengeance Day” went down on the WWE Network.

As noted, Takeover finished after Adam Cole turned to Kyle O’Reilly with a superkick, and also knocked Balor down with a superkick. This happened after Balor’s main event victory over Pete Dunne and The Undisputed Era, saving Balor from a triple team of Dunne and NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. Takeover went off the air with Roderick Strong acting in conflict between Cole and O’Reilly, while Balor and O’Reilly were arranged side by side in the ring.

WWE released the following post-Takeover footage of Balor and O’Reilly after they recovered from Cole’s superkicks. Balor noted that he is not sure if he trusts the situation. He also warned his former rival to be careful, adding that he is not cleaning up O’Reilly’s mess. Balor then left and O’Reilly was not far behind.

There is no word on what WWE has planned for Balor and the members of The Undisputed Era, but we will keep them updated. Below is the post-takeover footage of Balor and O’Reilly:
