[VIDEO] Trailer for ‘Big Shot’ by John Stamos – Disney + Basketball Dramedy

John Stamos is a hot-headed basketball coach on the road to redemption in David E. Kelley’s first trailer Big shot.

Debuting on Friday, April 16, the Disney + drama focuses on Marvyn Korn from Stamos After being kicked out of the NCAA, Coach Korn gets a job at Westbrook, a girls’ high school, where he soon he learns that adolescents “demand empathy and vulnerability – concepts that are strange to the stoic trainer”, according to the official logline. “By learning to connect with his players, Korn begins to become the person he always wanted to be”, while “girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their feet on and off the court”.

The trailer, which was first shared by EW.com, shows the incident that caused Korn to be expelled from the university leagues. And it is clear from the beginning that Korn’s new boss, Westbrook Dean Sherilyn Thomas (played by Community grad Yvette Nicole Brown), has little or no confidence in her controversial hiring.

Completing the cast are Jessalyn Gilsig (Vikings) as technical assistant Holly Barrett; Richard Robichaux (Childhood) like George Pappas; Sophia Mitri Schloss (Sadie) as Emma Korn; Nell Verlaque (Bull) like Louise Gruzinsky; Tiana Le (Insecure) as Destiny Winters; Monique Green (black) like Olive Cooper; Cricket Wampler (About a boy) as Samantha “Giggles” Finkman; and newcomer Tisha Custodio as Carolyn “Mouse” Smith.

Kelley executive producer Big shot alongside Brad Garrett (Everybody loves raymond), Bill D’Elia (Boston Legal) and Dean Lorey (Harley Quinn) The episodes will be played weekly.
