This year marks The Legend of Zelda’s 35th anniversary. Like the Super Mario celebrations, Nintendo could revive any game in the series.
With that in mind, YouTuber SnazzyAI – the same individual who showed off Animal Crossing: New Horizons running at 4K, 60FPS – launched a new video, this time showing what the 3DS title, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D it may look like it was somehow ported to the Nintendo Switch.
To do this, they took the “best trailer” for the 3DS game – resulting in 1080p, 60FPS.
“I took the best trailer I could find for him and reduced it from 1080P (it often happens when publishers publish in higher quality than the video really is) to 480P. Then the AI increased to 1080P from that 480P. Then , AI interpolated to 60FPS, as I think a higher frame rate is very necessary if it comes to the Switch. “
Although SnazzyAI also receives a complete remastering of the Switch, they think most fans would be content with the 3DS version. And it would be quite appropriate, considering that the Switch is partially portable.
