[VIDEO] The Walking Dead 11 season premiere and trailer date

The end is near for Living Dead – at least the beginning of the end. A few minutes after the end of Sunday’s 10th season, AMC’s zombie drama aired a promotion for its 11th and final season premiere, which revealed its start date: Sunday, August 22.

“Why are you here?” Eugene was asked what we could only assume was one of the soldiers who arrested him, as well as Ezekiel, Yumiko and Princess in the October 2020 “fauxnale”. Other questions – answered succinctly by the loquacious brain – included: “Do you consider yourself a fundamentally honest person? ” “Have you ever been vaccinated against measles?” and “Do you have any friends in the area that we should meet?”

There was also talk of – sip! – “reprocessing” if any of them are considered a threat.

As previously reported, Living Dead may be leaving, but will do so in style. Its final season will consist of 24 (!) Episodes, the first eight of which will premiere this summer. “Coming out of the six additional episodes of Season 10, which focused on shorter, character-driven stories,” said host Angela Kang in a statement, “we are excited to start Season 11 bigger than ever.

“The stakes are high,” she added. “We’ll see more zombies, tons of action, intriguing new stories, places we’ve never seen before and our groups together in a community for the first time, trying to reconstruct what the Whisperers took from them.”

Added the Living DeadScott M. Gimple, director of content for the company, the first of the last installments “will present the enormous scope and scale that fans expect … and I am thrilled to share that fans will not have to wait long for these incredible new episodes …”
