[VIDEO] ‘Superman & Lois’ trailer – new CW series premiere promotion

The CW wants to make the Super Bowl on Sunday a little bit extra super with a new promotion for the latest addition to the Arrowverse.

This new view for Superman and Lois – which opens with a two-hour event on Tuesday, February 23 at 8 / 7c – puts the Kent family in the front and center. And despite what the soundtrack may suggest, things are far from “right now”. Watch the one-minute video below:

In this latest version of Superman’s TV story, Clark and Lois are living a “simple” life in Smallville, where they are raising two anxious teenage children. Living in his hometown also meets Clark with his old “friend” Lana Lang, whose husband – Smallville fire chief Kyle Cushing – is not terribly receptive to the people of the big city. Lana and Kyle’s “wild child” daughter Sarah is a close friend of Clark and Lois’ children.

On the most nefarious side of things, the show pits Superman against The Stranger, a mysterious figure determined to prove that the world no longer needs the Man of Steel. We’ll also find the famous business tycoon Morgan Edge, although he’s not Adrian Pasdar’s version what do you remember Supergirl. And then there’s Lois’s father, Samuel, who is really more of an idiot than a villain.

Superman and Lois stars Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Jordan Elsass as Jonathan Kent, Alexander Garfin as Jordan Kent, Dyan Walsh as Samuel Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, Inde Navarrette as Sarah Cushing, Adam Rayner as Morgan Edge and Wole Parks as The Stranger.
