Dramatic video from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation captured a pickup falling 21 meters from a ramp and falling backwards onto its wheels over the weekend in Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said MPs responded to a car accident east of Interstate 41 on the Zoo Interchange ramp just before 10 am on Saturday. They found the red truck upright on the right lane of I-94 heading west, said the sheriff’s office.
A preliminary investigation found that the driver lost control of the vehicle while climbing a snow bank and skidded over the ramp barrier.
The driver was taken to a hospital but showed no signs of disability and had no serious injuries, said the sheriff’s office.
The west lanes of I-94 and the Zoo Interchange ramp were closed for hours while authorities cleared the scene.
