When you thought you already had enough reality shows to be obsessed, a new addition arrived: Netflix unveiled on Friday the official trailer for Bling Empire, which is basically Crazy Rich Asians finds Real housewives with a dash of Following the Kardashians intrigue.
The series, which opens on Friday, January 15, on the streaming service, follows a group of affluent Asian and Asian-American socialites with more money than you will ever see in your life. Feel free to cry with student loans as these super-rich friends liven up Los Angeles with wild parties and extravagant shopping.
“My friends, they are a bit eccentric, but they have good intentions,” said model Kevin Krieder in the preview. “They have the whole world at their disposal.”
And while they can have it all – seriously, who else can choose expensive hiking jewelry? – their lives are not always glamorous. “Between running multi-billion dollar businesses and traveling the world, these friends are just as good at keeping secrets as they are at revealing them,” says the official description of the program. “And there are certainly no secrets.”
As the trailer above indicates, we can expect a lot of drama as this elite team comes into conflict over penis pumps and gloomy seating arrangements – all while dripping with diamonds and lush fabrics.
