In addition to the upcoming battles between big names in music, the series also sparked a rematch. Last night’s highly anticipated epic, Verzuz The final confrontation between the members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, finally happened. Complete with appearances by Cappadonna, Masta Killa and Inspectah Deck, the episode was received with great reception from viewers. After the confrontation ended, the popular musical battle series hit its social media channels to deliver some exciting news. In addition to the Isley Brothers being pitted against the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire, more battles scheduled to happen are a match between Method Man and Redman, as well as a mysterious rematch yet to be announced. “We’re just getting started. We have so much on the way and we can’t wait to reveal the rest, but for now …” wrote the broadcaster in the ad’s caption. They continued, “The Isley Brothers vs. Earth, Wind & Fire | April 4 Redman vs. Method Man |” How High “4/20 Special Watch on [Verzuz TV] or [Triller]. Try to guess the others !! “ In addition to the mysterious rematch scheduled to take place over Memorial Day weekend, the chain also released a special Mother’s Day set to take place on May 9 and a special Women’s Night fight. Many viewers accessed Twitter to guess which women will grace the stage for the match, with preliminary assumptions, including Eve x Lil Kim and Lil Kim x Foxy Brown.
