‘Venom 2’ crawls to fall – deadline

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will now go on September 17th instead of June 25th. This occurs in the wake of Universal’s F9 moving on to the Sony / Marvel summer date after the departure of the Memorial Day weekend.

Venom 2 will have the complete set of 3D, Imax and premium large format screens. Previously on September 17, Sony had the Toronto man which is now TBD for now. Also debuting on September 17 is Universal / Dreamworks Animation THE Boss Baby: Family Business.

The first film was released on the first weekend in 2018, and reached an opening record of $ 80.2 million in October (before Clown broke that record a year later with $ 96.2 million) and finally raised over $ 850 million WW.

Andy Serkis directs the sequel with Tom Hardy reprising his role as the spider antihero. Michelle Williams is back too, as well as Woody Harrelson as the villain Carange.
