WEST ALLIS, Wis. (Gray News) – A driver survived a terrible accident when his truck skidded on an interstate ramp west of Milwaukee.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation video shows the truck hitting a snow bank on Saturday morning and then passing over a barrier.
The truck fell 21 meters west of Interstate 94, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.
“When the police arrived, they found the red pickup truck upright on the rescue lane on the right of the I-94 westbound lanes. Two citizens were on site offering help to the sole occupant, ”said the department’s Twitter account. “The driver was conscious and breathing and showed no signs of disability.”
Authorities took the driver to a local hospital.
