© Square EnixPolish studio Forever Entertainment – the team behind the Panzer Dragoon remastering on Switch – has just announced that it has closed a new contract with Square Enix, which will see remakes of “various” titles. All of these remakes are based on the same “brand”, but this series has not been confirmed at the moment; will be “made public in a separate report when the global marketing campaign starts”.
Forever Entertainment’s productions will include “a new graphic design”, but the “gameplay and setting” will remain “consistent with the original version”.
Revenue “across platforms” will be shared equally between Forever Entertainment and Square Enix. Forever Entertainment will cover development costs with its own funds.
